Menswear has never been quite as exciting as it is right now. I am excited it’s September, not just because fashion week season will be starting but also because I love autumn and winter garments. I cannot wait to replace my entire summer wardrobe for the chillier seasons ahead. One brand that has put together a strong AW15 collection is Dunhill. It is influenced by the artistic spirit of Soho back in the late fifties and early sixties when painters such as Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, and David Hockney mingled and would drink into the early hours of the day. I am excited about all the coats, shearling and signs of tweed. Let’s not forget the bags either because there are a number of giant leather bags in this collection – perfect for the weekend getaway and for spending a few days out of town.
