Last week saw the launch of The Archive Collection by Grenson at its Bloomsbury store party. It toasts to 150 years of continuous shoe-making and what better way to do this than to reproduce a collection of its shoes that spanned the decades of the 20th Century? I managed to get a glimpse of some of the original shoes that were made several decades back – all of them in superb conditions – and now you can buy them brand new. What amazed me was how the old designs doesn’t look the slightest bit dated and every bit modern.
