Christian Louboutin Valentine’s Capsule Collection party

There was a private party by Christian Louboutin a few days ago at its Motcomb Street store in Knightbridge to celebrate its Valentine’s Capsule Collection. You will fall in love with the new Cora Collection which includes two new sandals decorated with large hearts, available in a range of colours to choose from and different materials. Amongst the key pieces, there is a transparent pink PVC heart which floats in front of the foot on the Cora 120 and Cora Flat.

The special edition love-struck theme continues through the brand’s bestselling handbags, and Valentine edition of the Loubiposh clutch and Panettone wallet with amazing fluorescent pink spikes! What can I say other than I love, love, love this collection? These are not just for Valentine’s Day but for any special occasion.

Guests were offered a free manicure and had their nails painted using Christian Louboutin polishes from its beauty collection. It was actually my first ever visit to the Motcomb Street branch as I normally go to Dover Street or Mount Street shops. I learnt it was given a facelift a few months ago with stunning new Art Deco features and a scalloped embossed ceiling. I have always been a big fan of the Art Deco movement so this really was my cup of tea. I met a few new faces from the team who work at the luxury brand’s UK Head Office, and they were all an absolute joy to spend time with, and made me feel extremely welcome. One of the things we discussed was London Fashion Week as I was told we will be seeing CL shoes on the catwalk in a few days – so keep your eyes wide open. It is all super exciting!
