My day at Magnum’s Pink & Black Regent Street Party

My weekends are usually spent doing nothing but relaxing at home during the daytime but on this occasion I was invited by Magnum to spend Sunday in the VIP bus with Mollie King and experience all the fun that was taking place along Regent Street. It was an offer I couldn’t possibly turn down. It all started off in the VIP area which was a floral garden with plants and artificial lawn surrounded by a pink double decker bus and white picket fences.

Regent Street was free from traffic for the entire day to make way for the special event which included catwalk shows showcasing the garments available to buy from the shops nearby. There were live bands, dance performances, beauty treatments DJ sets, games and of course lots of ice cream to be had – all free. I would be curious to know how many ice creams were given out that day! It must have been be several thousands at least! Both Magnum Pink and Magnum Black have been made to reflect different moods, with pink raspberry and sophisticated espresso designed to suit the different sides to your personality.

The turnout was incredible despite the early rain and chilly temperature. I was blown away by how many peopled queued up for the ice cream! The lines were enormous but well worth the wait as these are no ordinary ice creams. The flavours of both Magnum Pink and Magnum Black are simply divine.

It was an absolute pleasure to see Mollie again. She immediately said hello to me and said it was she was so happy to see me again after the party she hosted a few weeks ago which I attended. She took us through all different spaces she had created within the Magnum Pink and Black Emporium further down on Regent Street. Then later we went back to the bus for more chat and selfies. What a memorable day!
