Topman Presents…. FESTIVAL 214

Topman has created a brilliant pop-up festival space, called Festival 214, on the second floor of its flagship store at Oxford Circus – complete with an artificial lawn, trees, tables, chairs and stage under a large tent. To celebrate the festival season, and its completely revamped store, Topman has hosted live music from bands like Telegram, Only Real and Bipolar Sunshine and some special guests, and also music from DJs like Boiler Room’s Bradley Zero, The Invisible DJs and Ghostpoet.

Festival 214 opened last Wednesday will continue in-store until the end of Saturday 7th June 2014. It is completely free to the public – you do not need tickets, wristbands or any of that nonsense. You just go to the store, walk into the tent on the second floor and find a place to sit down (or stand). Then enjoy. It’s that simple. I have been down twice and spent 2-3 hours each time. It’s just so much fun and really does feel like you are at a festival. You basically get an outdoor experience inside the store – without the fear of the rain spoiling your day. Sounds perfect? It is.

If you do plan on going there today (Saturday), there will be a Festival Fashion panel discussion at 2pm, followed by a DJ set by O. Children at 4pm. Your final opportunity to see a band perform live will be at 6pm, when TOY will take to the stage. Get down there!
