I do not know about you but I am really relishing the colour-blocking trend in fashion at the moment. It is all about picking loud, strong solid blocks of different colours which complements one another. Sadly I have not seen many people out on the streets wearing such outfits – perhaps a handful at best. Is it down to people not feeling confident enough or simply because they don’t like it. Not sure why but I certainly think it looks great. So go out and try them out! My favourite colours are yellow, orange, red, blue, pink, purple and green.
It’s not just women but men who should be giving them a go as well. I have a bright red pair of skinny jeans and plan on getting a few more solid coloured jeans, tops and blazers!

I’m obsessed with colour. If i go out, I feel naked if I don’t have a brightly coloured lipstick or something that is quite vibrant. One of my favourite dresses at the moment is bright orange and although some may say it clashes, I quite like wearing it with my little red blazer. Lovely post :)

Totally agree! I think, in the UK, people are more afraid of putting bold colours together. I was wearing a cobalt blue t-shirt today here in Paris, black capris and carrying a lemon yellow oversized bag and yet there were other people being still brighter and bolder than me! Blogs like yours will hopefully make Londoners more adventurous! :)

Hey you! I am hoping it will also encourage people to experiment a bit more as well – particularly with colours. It’s especially daring for men because we usually only get clothes in the same old boring dark brown, navy, black or grey! So it’s quite exciting! :]

Thank you! It doesn’t sound like it clashes at all to me. I think seeing the current trend of colour-blocking outfits has hopefully opened up people’s eyes and helped them see the possibilities available. I think a bright orange dress with a red blazer sounds great. I love bright orange right now and even yellow. I saw a woman wearing bright yellow flat pumps last Friday and those shoes made her stand out (in a good way). :]

Yeah, ZARA’s outfits are smarter and sophisticated. They target career professionals so it is not surprising. Bershka’s looks are more casual and playful. :]

I loved the looks from both places! So cute the orange skirt with the green top. Its great that all these colors are the new black now. Hope people will slowly get used to it and dare to try it more, even during winter time. It will make the cold season more happy and colorful:) And you are so right about the guys, they should definitely add some colors into their lives.
