The Louis Vuitton window displays for May 2013

Walk along the New Bond Street store and you will be dazzled by the enormous, bright windows of the New Bond Street Maison. Women with beehives are holding bags with checker board grids from a collection that is inspired by Les Deux Plateaux, more commonly known as Colonnes de Buren (“Buren’s Columns”), which is an art installation in the courtyard of the Palais Royal in Paris. They are grand and impressive in appearance.

TOPSHOP’s August 2012 window displays: Louise Gray
I went down to TOPSHOP at Oxford Circus yesterday – okay, I pretty much go there on most days so that is nothing new but I went down to view the Louise Gray collection and also hoped they would have some new window displays to promote it. They did! Bright colours. Metallics. Sequins. All the things you would come to expect from Louise Gray and it was fun looking at them.

Hippy, carefree, zig-zags over stripes. Styles with plenty of quirks.

And located at the front of the store, this is what the main window looked like. I love how all the mannequins are back to front, facing away from you. It almost looks as if they are talking to someone and you are sneaking up on them. I have never seen mannequins facing away quite like this before, and yet it is so interesting to look at. I think because of all the detailing. I love the neon stage and how they used a combination of ombre wigs made up from the same two colours.

Blacks and metallics are heavily featured, particularly studs which are quite hot at the moment.

I love these tights.

Window displays: LOUIS VUITTON, New Bond Street Maison (February 2012)
The new window displays are now ready to be seen and enjoyed at the Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison! They certainly do amaze as the windows are spectacular to look at. The all-white props seems quite fitting right now as they appear to look as if they are made from snow. Reminds me of some of the arctic regions. In my books, window displays should always provoke a positive reaction. They should excite you enough to make you desire the products, and I think Louis Vuitton fans will be pleased with these ones. I tried to capture as much of the details as I could using my zoom lens, as I do not know about you but for me it is the little details I enjoy looking at the most. Always the details!
