Fashion, cakes, strawberries, Pimms and beauty fun at St Martin’s Courtyard Garden Party!

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Light rain was forecasted for the day but thankfully not a drop made its way down from the heavens. I came down to the Garden Party right after the Wimbledon women’s final ended and enjoyed a special afternoon of events which brought together beauty and fashion lovers. There were strawberries with cream on offer, cherries, Pimms, magic shows, beauty shows and catwalk shows featuring outfits – all assembled using clothes from well known fashion retailers around St Martin’s Courtyard such as Jaeger, Banana Republic and more. If that wasn’t enough, there were live music performances from the brilliant Sunday Girl (Jade Williams) throughout the afternoon.

There were so many delicious strawberries around – perfect for the Wimbledon season!

If this doesn’t make your mouth salivate, well I am guessing not a lot will!

Then Sunday Girl came on to sing a few songs for us. I love her vocals and would strongly recommend checking her out. It takes a while for most new songs to grow on me but I took an instant liking to all her songs.

Followers of my blog will know I have discussed the socks and shoes trend a few times. Here you can see Jade is clearly keeping up with the trends in the fashion world. These suit her quite well!

After she was finished, she hanged out with a few people she knew. I wanted to meet her but didn’t want to bother her – fortunately for me, she looked at me from a distance, gave me a smile which made it easy for me to go up to her! She was so warm, friendly and so easy to talk to. Then I got this portrait of her. She’s so cool. :] I love her dress style. You know how much I love blazers, and the matching shorts go really along with the one she wore. The shirt is great too – particularly the collar.

The catwalk show! There were dozens and dozens of outfits on parade and below I have put up photos of the ones that stood out for me.

I really like the combination of the black tops, yellow shorts and pink flat ballet style shoes here.

Not everyone is a fan of ruffles but I think this ruffle top makes this outfit POP out. Love it. The shoes are beautiful too.

Bold orange but it works! This strong shade will certainly draw attention if you like people to notice you for the good reasons.

I love this jacket and the lace-up shoes is a really nice touch. They add character to the outfit.

I hope you enjoyed looking at the photos and reading my comments. I would recommend a visit to St Martin’s Courtyard any time. It’s right in Covent Garden!
