I am in Uniqlo’s new merino wool video campaign

I am delighted to announce that I, along with three other supremely-talented male bloggers – GarçonJon, Buckets & Spaces, We The Food Snobs, am featured in Uniqlo’s merino wool video campaign for the autumn and winter 2014-15 seasons.

For this special collaboration, we were ask to create an outfit which included at least one garment from Uniqlo’s merino wool collection and make video clips highlighting how we love spending our spare time. Fashion is something that flows through the veins of my body, so for my video I explored Oxford Street and Regent Street, in search of some of the key trends of the autumn and winter seasons worn by men on the streets of London, so I could capture them on film. Luckily, as I have shot street style photos over the years for several clients, approaching total strangers was a doddle.

It was a pleasure to be asked to get involved and be a part of it. Merino wool is a fabric I wear nearly every day of the year – from winter through to summer, and yes even on hot days. If you have seen me wear a v-neck jumper, which I wear almost daily, it is made from merino wool. For the video, I chose Uniqlo’s burgundy merino wool cardigan as it is extremely versatile.

The video above is an interactive video, showing clips from all four bloggers and then right towards the end you can click through to see the videos we made. Simply click on “Fashion” to see my video, or you can simply view it below.
