I love French Connection UK’s SS10 Campaign

Blog post for Boy Meets Fashion

How can you walk by and not be amused by their current advertising campaign? I know it’s really late to be discussing this as I actually tweeted about it months ago via Twitter. I didn’t have this blog then and now that I do, I wanted to write a post about it.

I love their portayal of women as delicate, beautiful and gentle while presenting men as rough, aggressive and somewhat caveman-ish. Stereotypical perhaps and some may find it offensive – if they take life too seriously. I see it as light-hearted humour andl view it as amusing, even if it is poking fun at my gender. Must add it’s actually the first time the brand has ever caught my eyes.

In the window are mannequins holding holographic prints of faces which change facial expression as you walk past them. Very clever and looks impressive when seen in person.

Like it? One more thing, considering how much I love to tweet on Twitter, I found this t-shirt funny.

He does – I bet he would look so much different without the beard! I think they are just poking fun at how men can be very primitive compared to women. *laughs*
