Leutton Postle SS13 – Vauxhall Fashion Scout

For my first show of the day last Tuesday, I made my way down to Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden to see a delightful collection presented by Leutton Postle. The pieces are all made from a mess of colours, clash of patterns – blocks, triangles, stripes – you name it. Designers Jenny Postle and Sam Leutton even threw in some fringing and sheer tops. It breaks all the rules of sensible designs, and somehow, miraculously works to perfection. The entire range looks exciting, playful and fun. EVERY piece is a statement piece. Bold clothes for a bold, confident woman who wants the world to know she has arrived. Of all the collections I have seen during London Fashion Week, this is amongst my favourites. I don’t know how they pulled off such a crazy mix of patterns and fabrics but my God, they did it so well.
