My FIRST EVER street style photos! Yay!

As you know, I love fashion photography very much and have taken a vast number of photos over the past few years. The one thing I have always wanted to do is street style photos and it is something I have been putting it off for quite a while. I have done portrait shots many times and even full body shots but never out on the streets because it just feels weird approaching strangers outside a social environment. During last Saturday evening I watched a two man band play some songs, and near me a blonde woman watched as well. A tiny catwalk show soon followed and I took some photos. Soon after it was finished, I moved down to another street and minutes later I noticed she was standing there just 2-3 metres away. I really liked her dress sense and considered going up to her to ask if I could take a photo for this blog. I hesitated for a moment but then decided to go for it. She was really quite friendly and instantly open to the idea. I took some photos and then she handed me her phone so I could give her my blog details.

I like it when someone can look fashionable by keeping things simple. This look is conservative but with a contemporary edge. It’s classy sophistication with a chic, understated elegance and I love it.

So what do you think of the photos, and of her outfit? Let me know! One more thing…. is the second image too big? I need feedback! Can’t wait to take more street style photos. :D
