OUTFIT OF THE DAY: what I wore on the first day of the Diamond Jubilee

I really miss the Diamond Jubilee. It was such momentous period in our time, of when there was a sense of real unity within this country. Flags and bunting all over the country. Not just on the High Streets of our towns and cities but all along our the residential streets. Everyone seemed to be in a jolly mood. Happy, smiling faces from the young and old, and even tourists were savouring the moments – with many cheerfully waving the Union flags and even dressing up in them.

Oh Diamond Jubilee, I really miss you.

AMAZING photos :) All the bunting and Union Jacks make me smile so much. I had to work a lot of the DJ weekend, but I made sure I got out and celebrated the best I could. I love all the street parties and how everyone got together and it was alright!

Thank you very much! It felt so amazing didn’t it? Everyone just came together to enjoy the occasion and it felt really good to be British. I only wish we could have this same feeling every year.
