Pan Am, a brand new series set in the 1960s & stars Christina Ricci, looks STUNNING.

Women wearing beautifully tailored uniform and pretty dresses. Perfect hair. Men, well groomed and in immaculate suits. Beautiful classic cars. Luxury travel. What more could you ask for? Pan Am looks truly easy on the eyes. With the writer being Jack Orman, who wrote for ER, and director being Thomas Schlamme (The West Wing), this period drama sounds and looks very promising. Watching the trailer makes me wish I could grab a time machine and transport myself back to the 1960s – at least for a day. I have a feeling the series will be a brand new addiction for me and cannot wait to see it air on our TV screens in the UK! Can’t it be here already?

Do you know what the Pan Am trailer reminds me of? This incredible advert by Virgin Atlantic, which I absolutely still adore to this day. The best airline advert EVER. It was made about 2-3 years ago.

Are they not quite similar? By the way, the whole “women who love men in a uniform” also works the other way – I love women in a uniform.

Wow, that’s exactly what it reminds me off (when I saw it quite a while ago, I though it was a movie trailer!)…

    Jai'me Jan

I thought it was a movie too.  Not just because it looks like one but also due to Christina Ricci being in it! :]
