Fortunately for us it was a gloriously warm morning. A very beautiful summer morning when it felt great to be outside – even if it meant standing for some time. As always, there was a long queue for Gucci bags, with many desperately wanting to get their hands on the handbags.

Many items were selling for considerably less than their usual recommended retail price. There were not many discounts offered on brands which was disappointing but huge discounts were offered on designer goods. Many Burberry coats for instance were half-price. Marc Jacobs t-shirts were down to around £39 from £80 and some really good D&G t-shirts were down to £49 from £99. Smythson were also offering up to 50% on a range of items. Well worth checking out if you are into those.
