Dinner at Hoxton Grill with Boohoo.com for the boohoo Boutique collection

Online retailer Boohoo.com hosted an intimate dinner party for a few bloggers at Hoxton Grill, down in East London earlier this month. It was to showcase their exciting Boohoo Boutique collection which is an exclusive, limited range of womenswear separates. It includes dresses, jackets, blazers, shoes, trousers, shorts and tops. Inspired by this season’s dark romance and gothic romanticism trends, the pieces are embellished with rich gold brocade and lavish rivet detailing. Studs are also heavily featured, along with metallic detailing across the range.

Prices start from £20 for the Boutique Ashiya Knitted and Mesh Beaded Front Top, and go no higher than £70.

What I liked most was the quality of all the products I saw – despite being very affordable, I was impressed by the quality of the fabrics and stitching. The jackets in particular are quite stunning and look far more costly than what their price tags suggest. I got Boohoo.com’s Social Media girl to be my model and she was such a good sport, happily slipping into the clothes I liked so I could take some photos – as clothes obviously look much better worn than they do hanging on a rail.

Just look at the detailing on this jacket. It is to be admired. I LOVE the pearls.

After I had finished looking at the collection, I could not help but feel envious. Women really are quite lucky to have so many incredible clothes and accessories to choose from. The Boohoo boutique collection is exceptionally good.

Thank you to the entire Boohoo.com team for inviting me, as I had a brilliant evening. Despite the fact that all the bloggers had left by 9.30pm, the BH girls asked me to stay for some mojitos. We chatted and joked until 11.30pm, then I had to depart in order to catch the last tube home. Thank you, ladies!
