Dressed head to toe in REISS from the autumn/winter 2013/14 collection

Two days ago as part of a style challenge, I was asked to head down to REISS at the retail and leisure destination, Liverpool ONE to pick out a few pieces from the autumn and winter 2013/14 collection and dress myself up. Just browsing through the rows of ties, socks and jackets gave me a feeling of exhilaration. I just could not wait to try them on! REISS is synonymous with the colour blue, which happens to be my favourite colour, so I picked out a peak lapel tailored navy suit jacket, mohair wool notch lapel waistcoat, polka dots socks and a pair of ross-deep straight leg jeans in indigo. I also chose a purple knitted tie to give the outfit a bit of a POP.

I do hope you like the look! With thanks to REISS for inviting me to try on its new collection.

Thank you, Lauren! Because my face is definitely looking fatter. Not so much in the photo above but in many other photos I have seen recently. The scale does not lie – I have definitely gained 2 kilos (over 4 pounds) in the last 2 months. :]

I suppose that’s the problem with constantly seeing photos of yourself- you notice every teeny weight gain. The house I’ve just moved into doesn’t have a full-length mirror and I haven’t bought one because I’ve really enjoyed just going on how I feel each day rather than scrutinising myself every morning!
