Forever 21 opens its first ever London store – the American invasion is on!

The American invasion into the UK’s fashion market is well and truly on. In recent years we have seen Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Banana Republic, American Apparel open up stores in the UK and there are plans by Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle to open shops as well. If that isn’t enough, yesterday Tom Ford also opened his very first UK boutique right inside Harrods.

The long wait for many women wishing to see Forever 21 open in London finally came to an end yesterday when the Oxford Street store opened its doors to the public. It is situated right across Bond Street station and has three floors. I went to take a look yesterday afternoon and it was seriously PACKED. It looks impressive inside with chandelier lights, mannequins standing on platforms and a large range of products to choose from. Currently it only sell women’s clothes but I heard there are plans to introduce the men’s line as well. Can’t wait.

Inside Bond Street station the brand made sure everyone passing through would be aware of the store’s opening by resorting to some clever bit of advertising.
