My new shoes: Church’s Burwood metal studded brogues

If you have not already heard of Church’s then you really do need to familiarise yourself with the brand. It is one of the finest shoe manufacturers in the world. Loved by London’s bankers, adored by the affluent and James Bond wears them too. It was founded in 1873 by Thomas Church and is renowned all around the world for producing premium quality shoes – so much so that four out of every five pairs of shoes sold in England are imported and from 400,000 pairs it produces annually, two thirds of that figure goes for export. They are made in England, in Northampton to be precise where it employs 650.

Sometimes you browse and browse when then come across a pair of shoes you absolutely must have, and for me this happened last Sunday. These brogues are such a pair for me and I bought them straight away. I really cannot wait to wear these!
