A step into Liberty of London’s magical Christmas shop

It’s safe to say every little thing Christmassy evokes a feeling of exhilaration within me, so it was only natural that I would go down to one of London’s oldest department stores and visit its Christmas shop to see what customers would be able to buy there. From the day the Christmas shop opens in September, it aims to sell 150,000 gifts and decorations by mid-December – a phenomenal figure – with 110,000 baubles and 15,000 fragrance bottles expected to be bought during this month. It does attract over 250,000 visitors each year.

There were so many great buys when I went inside – my personal favourites includes: the beautiful large white peacock with sparkly embroidery, the robin in Liberty print, the Christmas tree ornament featuring Mona Lisa, and the Bambi Christmas tree ornament. Oh, and I love the Oliver Twist wrapping paper! Make sure you make a pit-stop at Liberty next time you are in town.
