Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the lady in charge of all the designs for Aspinal of London’s handbags and accessories. She spent some time talking me through the design process and where she got her ideas for the luxury brand’s new collections from. Looking through the autumn and winter 2013 collections, I asked about her favourite bags. She told me that one of them is the Catherine Bag which is largely inspired by the architecture of Hampton Court, the home of King Henry VIII.
