It was the evening of the final day at London Collections: Men SS15, and this party was the perfect way to celebrate the end of three intense days of menswear fashion in the city. LC:M was brilliant fun and extremely insightful. I had three productive days and fatigue was quickly catching up with me – mainly due to the long hours with very little (3-4 hours sleep a night) sleep. By this point, I felt sad it was nearly over but also thrilled at the prospect of sleeping longer hours again, and getting my life back to normal again.

Upon arrival at the Alfred Dunhill x GQ Style party, I was kindly informed that I was in for a very special, and unforgettable night. I knew it would be good but boy, it really did live up to the promise. It is one of the big parties I have ever been to, and I have been to many many great parties in the last four years. The staff were exceptional, the guests were a delight and my God Bourdon House – the home of Alfred Dunhill – is gloriously beautiful. I was given a tour inside the three-floor mansion which includes a cinema, spa and a bar room. Cocktails and Nyetimber sparkling wine were handed out to all guests on the ground floor, while the fine bartenders were serving the perfect whiskey to guests hiding away in the bar room upstairs. The evening at Bourdon House was suppose draw to a close at 10pm and I guess someone forgot to keep an eye on the time because we carried on partying until the clock made it past 11pm.
