Glasgow: meeting jewellery designer Georgia Wiseman

One of many designers I was introduced to in Glasgow during my stay last month was a graduate of Glasgow School of Art, Georgia Wiseman. She shares her love of geometric patterns, 3-dimensional forms and modern culture through her jewellery pieces. She spent time in London working in the craft and fashion industries before returning to Glasgow to launch her own business. This year has been all go for Georgia, who has rejuvenised her website with a new online store. Her aim is to create affordable luxury jewellery. I am a fan of her triangular, pyramid shaped pieces and the honeycomb shaped earrings and necklaces encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

Georgia was nominated for Accessory Designer of the Year at the Scottish Fashion Awards. Her site can be found at: www.georgiawiseman.com
