Gok Wan launches his spring and summer 2012 eyewear collection at Specsavers

Last night I was over at a Specsavers store on Tottenham Court Road where I had been invited to a launch party for Gok Wan’s new eyewear collection. Just as I arrived, I spotted him standing outside the building, posing for photos. He was dressed in all black and looked great. He loves black! I would like to see him play around with some colours a bit more – particularly prints. I need to twist his arm.

I sipped my drink and ate delicious canapés along with a few of my friends including Leroy (clotheshorse-diaryofaclotheshorse.blogspot.com), Carrie (wishwishwish.net), Lucy (shinythoughts.net) and Kristabel (iwantyoutoknow.co.uk) while Gok was busy doing Press interviews. We had fun flirting around with his new collection, trying on a few of his spectacles and snapped some photos. Good times! It was really wonderful to see Gok again – always a charming man, and I like his latest range of spectacles. I really do need a pair of glasses – perhaps now is a good time to get them?
