In partnership with Kurt Geiger, Vince Camuto has opened his very first stand-alone shoes and accessories store in the country, at 133 High Street Kensington, W8. The brand is a lifestyle concept and not too much has been known about Vince in the UK but this is the man who co-founded Nine West and partnered with Tory Burch to launch her very successful shoe collection back in 2006. Retail partners in the United Kingdom includes Fenwicks, Bentalls, Kurt Geiger, Selfridges and House of Fraser.

I went down to the launch party, entitled “Night in The Hamptons”, which was attended by Ophelia Lovibond, Sophie Sumner, Olivia Grant, Leah Weller, Rosie Fortescue and Florence Brudenell-Bruce. We drank 10 Cane rum mojitos and sipped Laurent Perrier in-between gorging on delicious VC branded macaroons. It was a highly enjoyable event, chatting the evening away with some familiar, and many new faces. It was an absolute pleasure to be there, to meet Vince and Louise in person and have a chat. Both are very charming people. I love the shoes, bags and accessories. Thank you Vince and Louise, for having me.
