The “I Love Holi” party by Tatty Devine

And finally the video….

There was an amazing party thrown by Tatty Devine for over 300 guests a few days ago near Bermondsey in London. Things got pretty messy when we were all encouraged to turn up wearing white, so we could participate in the madness that eventually occurred, in the form of powder and paint throwing to coincide with India’s spectacular Holi festival which was taking place on the same day. SO…. MUCH…. FUN. I was the only person crazy enough to jump right in wearing my beautiful trench coat and no protective clothing whatsoever (I didn’t care). There were a few people gasping in horror as my coat got battered all over with powder paint but it was all worth it. My friends and I had a blast.

The party was to celebrate the brand’s latest jewellery collection. Guests included Stooshe, TV presenter Pips Taylor, MTV’s Lilah Parsons and BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Sarah Jane Crawford. Thank you Tatty Devine for the unforgettable evening, and please, let’s do it again in the future!

I think going in with your trench definitely added to the fun factor.. I bet it was a lot more thrilling! However.. why isn’t there a photo of you in your post colour party trench?? ;p

*laughs* I did ask two people to take photos of me with my camera but they failed – miserably! The photos were always blurry or out of focus. Nearly always happens. Sadly most people don’t know how to use a DSLR.

This looks like it was SUCH FUN! Is the paint permanent? If so You will always have great memories when you put on your trench ;-)

It’s not permanent, luckily but they did warn that the paint may not wash off completely. I am hopeful! :]
